Wayne K Johnson earned a BFA Old Dominion University and a MFA from East Carolina University.

He has worked as a professor at Tidewater Community College teaching Art History, Drawing, Painting and Photography. He also taught as a visiting professor at the University Of Maine at Presque Isle.

Mr. Johnson is currently working as a full time artist and living in Leland North Carolina. He is Actively exhibiting in galleries  and juried exhibitions both nationally and Internationally..
